MADOFFMAIL.COM is a crowdsourced collection of prison mail addressed to Bernard Madoff, created by people around the world. The site invited visitors to contribute their personal thoughts about the Madoff story, in visual or written form: "Whether you were one of his victims or not, now's your chance to tell him how you feel."

MadoffMail.com went live in July 2009, as the Madoff story was breaking around the world. The site became a creative outlet for the public's response to the Madoff news story.

In the first week MadoffMail.com received hits from visitors in 109 countries. The site received 22,000 hits in the first two weeks alone. MadoffMail was written up by media outlets including The Financial Times, The New York Post, and The Huffington Post.
